ELIGIBILTY REQUIREMENTS
FINANCIAL NEED
At SHPFA we are dedicated to supporting families facing financial challenges. Our commitment is to prioritize assistance for those with the most pressing needs. We assess financial need based on factors such as household income, employment status, and other relevant obligations. Our priority is to allocate resources to families with the most significant financial challenges. We carefully review applications, giving preference to those most in need.
AGE OF CHILD
We recognize the critical importance of early childhood development and are committed to providing assistance based on age. Our priority is to support children who will turn 4 from June 2, 2020 to September 1, 2020, emphasizing the significance of early education as they prepare to enter kindergarten. Following that, we extend our support to 3-year-olds. Eligibility is determined by the age of the child, and they must fall within specific birthdate requirements to qualify for assistance.
LOCATION
Our enrollment process is designed to prioritize families based on their residential location, promoting convenience and community engagement. Understanding that spaces may be limited in certain locations, we are committed to providing alternative options for families without a preschool spot in their place of residency. Our goal is to ensure that every child has access to quality early education. Currently serving Angwin, Calistoga, and
St. Helena.
