It Starts With All of Us
Our Preschool Promise is more than a fundraising campaign; it's our community's commitment to investing in the next generation. Each year, local businesses, organizations, foundations, and individuals come together to ensure preschool remains accessible for children whose families live and work throughout St. Helena, Calistoga, and Angwin.
The families we serve are part of the fabric of our community. They help in our schools, care for patients, welcome visitors to our hotels, work in our vineyards and wineries, serve in our restaurants, work in our local businesses, and contribute to the community we all call home. When we invest in preschool, we do more than prepare children for transitional kindergarten and kindergarten. We strengthen families, support working parents, and invest in a stronger future for our entire community.
This year, Our Preschool Promise will help provide preschool scholarships for approximately 21 local children, giving them the opportunity to begin school confident, prepared, and ready to learn. Because when children succeed, families thrive, and when families thrive, our community grows stronger.

The early years of a child's life shape how they learn, grow, and succeed. High-quality preschool helps children build the academic, social, and emotional skills that prepare them for kindergarten and beyond.
For parents, preschool provides the stability to remain in the workforce and continue contributing to the community they call home.
Investing in early childhood education is one of the most meaningful ways we can strengthen the future of our children, our families, and our community.

Our Story
Building Brighter Futures Since 2010
For more than sixteen years, St. Helena Preschool For All has partnered with families, educators, donors, and community leaders to expand access to high-quality preschool. What began in 2010 as a response to a local preschool closure has grown into a trusted nonprofit serving families throughout St. Helena, Calistoga, and Angwin. Today, more than 300 local children have received preschool scholarships because our community believed every child deserves a strong start.
